La banda Spandau Ballet, héroes del mítico movimiento New Romantic y representantes de la facción más elegante y sofisticada del pop británico, es la primera confirmación del 53 Festival de la Porta Ferrada.

Tras iniciar su gira Soul Boys of the Western World con un sold-out en el londinense Royal Albert Hall, el tour llegará al Espai Port de Sant Feliu el martes 18 de agosto. Con más de 25 millones de discos vendidos, 23 hit-singles globales e innumerables fans en todo el mundo, no es nada atrevido afirmar que Spandau Ballet son uno de los súper-grupos de los 80.

El grupo liderado por el gentleman Tony Hadley, que no giraba desde 2009, será una de las principales atracciones del festival, con éxitos imborrables como Gold, True, Only When You Leave y Throw TheBarricades, así como 3 nuevas canciones producidas por el genial Trevor Horn, entre ellas el indiscutible hit This is the love.
